The picture of the 1940-41 team was taken in the old gym built in 1918-19. It was in such bad shape that the Canners only played 4 home games (They won them all). The team finished 16-4 that year under the direction of future Hall of Famer, Jerry Steiner (Standing at right). Leonard Himes (#9) was the leading scorer with 179 points. He would finish his career with 301 points
